About the event
In this class you will learn how to dismantle a pallet and reuse the wood to make a Christmas tree.
I will share with you all the best places to find good pallets.
We will use basic hand tools as well as power tools to explore many different, safe ways to take a pallet apart. Together we will figure out the best use of the pallet as each pallet is usually quite different from each other. With sustainability in mind, we will reuse wood that is destined for the garbage to create something new and beautiful.
You will have some options of how you want your tree to look. I have built a few different options for inspiration, so you can see what is possible. Dimensions and spacing can all be changed very easily; slight changes can make a tree look very different. Come to the class with a picture…
