The beat of your becoming.
Leave your judgements at the door. The ones you carry about yourself. The ones you've learned to expect from others. The expectations of who you should be, how you should feel, and where you should be by now. We're leaving that shit outside.
This is a day to come as you are. Messy. Strong. Exhausted. Excited. Uncertain. Starting over. Or somewhere in between.
No perfect stories. No pretending you've got it all figured out. No pressure to share anything you're not ready to share. Just women, real conversations, raw materials, and the experience of creating something with our own two hands.
We will work with natural hides, learn about hide preparation, and transform prepared rawhide into handcrafted frame drums. There will be stretching, pulling, tension, patience, probably some laughter, and maybe a few moments that hit a little deeper…

One place at the March 20 full-day hide preparation and rawhide drum-making experience. Includes drum materials, instruction, reflection booklet, coffee, tea and water. Bring your own lunch and snacks. May be purchased as a gift.
