About the event

Come spend the weekend learning how to harvest and use every part of a lamb in this interactive and hands on clinic. Ideal for any small producer of lamb / goats, while following the provincial on farm legislation.

Full culinary field to fork lunch provided where you can sample some unique cuts and dishes of lamb.

Day One:

Humane Handling of livestock

Humane Slaughter

Evisceration

Hide Skinning

Hide Handling & Prep for Tanning

Safe Meat Handling

Tallow & Offal Harvesting

Day Two:

Basic Cut and Wrap

Tallow Rendering

Limited accomodations are available onside in our canvas bell tens furnished with all essentials and woodstoves (available to rent at a discounted rate. to book email us at wildfibrefarm@gmail.com)

The host property is a private working family farm. no pets are permitted onsite. We reserve the right to refuse registration or participation to anyone that is harassing or offensive to people or livestock onsite without refund. Full address and directions are provided to paid participants only and will be emailed with details along with waivers 3 days prior to the event.
