Experience the ancient art of hide tanning in the heart of Alberta’s wilderness!
Join us for an immersive3-5-day hide tanning camp, where you'll learn the traditional craft of brain and smoke tanning from start to finish. Under expert guidance , you’ll build your own primitive hide frames, fleshing beams, forage for proper smoke wood and transform raw hides into beautifully tanned, durable leather using natural methods—just as all our ancestors did for centuries.
