Traditional Tanning Large Hair-On Hides Workshop

Come empower yourself to learn something new in an immersive 2 day hair-on traditional brain tanning weekend workshop. Enjoy hands-on experience with interactive demonstrations on how to traditionally tan medium - large hides with brain (lecithin) and smoke, from start to finish. Your tanning instructor Cher Reynen, will guide you through the entire tanning process, answering questions along the way and demonstrating proper technique.

Tanning Participants will receive full instruction, hands on experience and Traditional Tanning Guide. Registration/ per person for the weekend. All tools and demonstration hides will be provided. Due to the lengthly process of tanning participants will not have a completed hide to take home, as it is not possible to tan a single larger hide in just one weekend while completing each step. multiple hides will be worked on at each step so you gain experience and confidence to start and finish your own at home after the workshop.
