Build a Rocking Chair

This one day Introduction to Basic Carpentry will have you boasting to your friends that "I made that!" as you show off your No Flip Rocking Chair. This rocking chair is an exciting project, made from one sheet of plywood, employing simple handheld tool, using simple joinery only; no glue or fasteners! We will walk through the entire process to create a beautiful and functional rocking chair. You will learn how to read the plans for your project, measure and cut your materials, and assemble your project. There will be opportunity for hands on and demonstrations of basic tool use. You will be building your own rocking chair, with your own hands, with expert guidance, but no carpentry or tool experience is necessary.
